Sick Etiquette!

So I was torn on letting Emory go to school today… As you know we stayed home yesterday because she wasn’t feeling well. She seemed ok while at home but last night it was kind of bad with vomiting and diarrhea early this morning. I was clueless as to whether it was in good etiquette to send her to school?

I asked my brother and his reply was, “well they’ll call you if she’s too sick and tell you to come get her.”

Well that’s just great! I, personally, hate. It when parents bring their sick kids to school. They just end up spreading germs to the kids who aren’t sick.

Needless to say, I took her to school.
Gave her teachers the spill about the cough, sneezes and stuffiness but there was no fever. Also told them to call me if anything happened!

I went to work and my coworkers told me that the proper etiquette is that if there is no fever, they can go to school!

Gee thanks a lot!!!
As it turns out, Emory was fine at school and was all smiles when I picked her up :))
